Position: Cardiac Sonographer, Full or Part Time

Location: Rapid City, SD

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will perform echocardiograms and vascular diagnostic procedures in the outpatient hospital and imaging center setting. As a Cardiac Sonographer at Black Hills Ultrasound, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment with like-minded colleagues dedicated to delivering an exceptional patient experience and an accurate diagnosis with lots of autonomy. Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms and vascular testing in outpatient hospital and imaging center using appropriate protocols and technique.
Dedication to continuing medical education as provided by Black Hills Ultrasound to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic results.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a cohesive experience for our guests.
Maintain accurate patient records and data by communicating with referring and reading physicians when appropriate.

Requirements:

Certification in cardiac sonography (RDCS or RCS) through the ARDMS.
Certification in Vascular Technology and/or willingness to learn Vascular Ultrasound from 3 registered Vascular sonographers. Significant raise given after passing the RVT examination.
Proficiency in performing complete resting echocardiograms.
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
